Created in collaboration with the highly acclaimed NYU School of Medicine, the five-year MD/MPH dual degree program in Global Health offers you the opportunity to integrate medical training with public health from a global health perspective. At completion of this full-time program, you will have earned a Doctor of Medicine (MD) and a Master of Public Health (MPH), starting you off in a prime position for advanced career options in either field.

The Master of Public Health (MPH) program with a concentration in Biostatistics teaches you to apply statistical reasoning and methods to the analysis of public health, health care, and biomedical, clinical and population-based data.

The Master of Public Health (MPH) program with a concentration in Community Health Science and Practice prepares you to collaboratively develop, implement, and evaluate programs and policies that promote healthy communities and health equity.

The Master of Public Health (MPH) program with a concentration in Environmental Public Health teaches students to develop a deep understanding of current global policy and practice, and the ability to advance sustainable, equitable, scalable solutions to environmental challenges, anticipating the global marketplace demand for expertise in both environmental health research and practice, focusing on developing skills in analyzing and managing complex issues through both research and applied practice.

The Master of Public Health (MPH) program with a concentration in Epidemiology prepares public health professionals to critically analyze and understand the distribution, determinants, and control of disease processes to advance population health.

The Master of Public Health (MPH) program with a concentration in Global Health trains you to engage with local and international organizations to design and implement effective global health programs. The program will also prepare you to become a leader in the field of public health by applying strategic principles of ethical reasoning and professional practice to advance health equity and social justice around the world.

The Master of Public Health (MPH) program with a concentration in Public Health Nutrition trains you to promote health and reduce the risk of chronic diseases and obesity through educational and environmental approaches to improved nutrition and physical activity. You’ll be prepared to identify and assess diet-related health problems among diverse population groups around the world, identifying the social, cultural, economic, environmental, and institutional factors that contribute to the risk of undernutrition and over nutrition among populations.

The Master of Public Health (MPH) program with a concentration in Public Health Policy and Management develops leaders who will influence policy and manage organizations to improve and protect the public’s health. You will be prepared to develop, implement, and evaluate policies and management strategies in health care and public health. If you are interested in working with government agencies, nonprofits, or private health care organizations that seek to advance public health, these concentrations are suited to your career goals.

The Master of Public Health (MPH) program with a concentration in Social and Behavioral Sciences prepares you to critically assess and explain major theories, trends, and debates regarding the relationship between socially structured inequalities and health.

The Master of Science in Biostatistics program trains students in biostatistical methods for study design, data analysis, and statistical reporting for scientific and lay audiences. This degree will train students in key areas including data management, statistical reasoning, the interpretation of numeric data for scientific inference in studies in medicine and public health, and the ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with scientists and other public health stakeholders across disciplines.

The Master of Science in Epidemiology prepares students to design and conduct epidemiologic studies as well as analyze, interpret, model, and report on data from public health, health care, biomedical, clinical and population-based studies.

The interdisciplinary, three-year MPA/MPH dual degree program with the NYU Wagner Graduate School of Public Service provides the necessary skills for you to pursue professional careers in both public administration and public health, prepare you for leadership roles in community healthcare settings, government agencies, and non-profit organizations in the United States and internationally. At completion of this full-time program, you will have earned a Master of Public Administration (MPA) and a Master of Public Health (MPH), starting you off in a prime position for advanced career options in either field.

The Doctor of Philosophy in Public Health program at GPH allows you to balance the theoretical with the practical; the innovation with the application. You’ll work side-by-side with and under the guidance of esteemed faculty from NYU’s global and interdisciplinary network on vanguard research and solutions to universal public health issues.

The five-year Dual Degree DDS/MPH program facilitates the integration of oral health promotion and disease prevention into public health policy at the international level.

The Dual Degree in Medicine (MD/MA in Bioethics) program with the NYU School of Medicine teaches you how to integrate medical training with the ethics of modern healthcare policy and delivery.

The highest degree in the public health profession, the Doctor of Public Health (DrPH) is designed to provide public health professionals with leadership, analytic, policy, and communication skills.

The Master of Arts in Bioethics at GPH is one of the first programs in the world to promote a broad conception of bioethics encompassing both medical and environmental ethics. You’ll develop concepts and analytical skills that enable you to think critically about pressing challenges in the broad field of bioethics, and you’ll also have the opportunity to focus your studies through flexible curriculum options and the one-on-one guidance of your advisor.

This interdisciplinary, three-year MSW/MPH dual degree program with the NYU Silver School of Social Work allows you to combine social work and public health with a global focus. At completion of this full-time program, you will have earned a Master of Social Work (MSW) and a Master of Public Health (MPH), starting you off in a prime position for advanced career options in either field.

In collaboration with the highly acclaimed NYU College of Nursing, we offer a three-year dual degree MS/MPH program designed to integrate advanced practice nursing and public health training, preparing you to assume leadership positions in a variety of settings. At completion of this full-time program, you will have earned a Master of Science in Nursing (MS) and a Master of Public Health (MPH), starting you off in a prime position for advanced career options in either field.

The Advanced Certificate in Public Health program offers graduate-level courses administered entirely online to equip professionals with essential knowledge and training in core public health concepts. The 15 credits in this program are fully transferable to the NYU MPH degree if you are admitted to the MPH at a later point.
